A stress-free kids party with Zuru

Gone are the days of planning stressful birthday parties and here’s to the new stress-free party planning

Lydia turned 7 in October and this year she opted for a Disco party, what can I say my girl loves her music, and she had a brilliant day.  We hired a fantastic local entertainer who entertained the kids throughout the whole two hours, all we had to do was bring the parcel for pass the parcel and a packet of plastic party trophies, sit back and watch.  I could even join in with the party games.

Being prepared

I have a party box at home which contains my party essentials. It’s full of birthday girl and boy banners, balloon weights, bubbles, party prizes (that I have picked up from the supermarket when they have been reduced), plates, napkins, balloon ribbon, balloons, table cloths, glowsticks, you name it and I have got it.

How to blow up 40 Balloons in 40 seconds…

The bane of my life and most time-consuming, annoying job to do when getting ready for a party is blowing up tons of balloons and then attaching the ribbon to them.

Zuru sent us their self-sealing bunch O’balloons that can blow up 40 balloons in 40 seconds. They are a game-changer and I will never use my own breath to fill up balloons again so my days of going light-headed from lack of oxygen are long gone. Pop the plug into the wall, attach the balloons and switch it on. The balloons fill up quickly and already have the ribbon attached to it, so it will save you a ton of time. Another important factor to add is that the pumps are reusable and can also be used to blow up other products like pool inflatables, paddling pools and airbeds. The balloons are recyclable.

Quick and stress-free party lunch boxes

My mum and I would get so stressed out on the morning of the party with all the preparing and cooking we used to do. It would take us hours and then we would have to transfer it from our kitchen to the venue. This year I decided to make lunch boxes instead and it was so much simpler.

There was no waste and we used the boxes again for their cake to take home.

Party favours

This year I didn’t put together the usual party bags, instead, I brought the kid’s a book each and Zuru sent me twelve of their 5 surprise unicorn series to give to our guests.

Let’s not forget the party girl/boy, as Zuru had Lydia covered too and sent her a gorgeous birthday present in the form of a Pets alive- My Magical Unicorn, which she adores and shares with her little sister.

What a brilliant idea. Blowing up balloons and then transporting them to a party venue is always a pain. Seems to me this product will cut out a lot of stress. Will post this blog to my Facebook page as I think I a lot of people will love this product.
